Our Philosophy

At Faraway Weddings we work to the philosophy that your wedding day should be a special and memorable experience. Arranging a destination wedding should be an exciting and special time, and certainly not a worrying journey into the unknown.

Our main focus is to create your ideal wedding experience, whilst providing an exceptional level of quality and service. To achieve this requires knowledge, skill, organisation and, above all else, regular contact and information sharing with you, as the client.

Therefore we, at Faraway Weddings, work hard to offer you the best of our local knowledge, as well as impartial advice on how to best plan your Koh Samui wedding.

Unlike a travel agent, we do not offer weddings in an attempt to sell holidays, flights or accommodation. We do, however have extensive knowledge of the island's accommodation options and, if requested, can advise, or recommend a selection of properties to suit your needs. We prefer to give you the freedom to choose where you and your guests stay.

Flexibility is vital when organising a dream wedding so, even within our set packages, we offer you an extensive list of additional services and freedom to customise the wedding wherever possible to personalise your ceremony and make it totally individual to you.

Our policy is to never organise more than one wedding a day and we pride ourselves on our high level of quality and service. We are constantly striving to improve ourselves and, for us, each wedding is as special as the couple who choose to marry on the island. We believe that no two weddings should be the same, if they were, then they wouldn't have that all-important personal touch.
