Dear Tam, Narissa, Metta and the Faraway Team,

Thank you for all of your help to make our wedding day special.

Narissa, your assistance and understanding in planning our wedding via email was invaluable preparation. It made us feel safe about our decision and gave us something to look forward to before we left home.

Tam, you were so wonderful from our first meeting until we had to say goodnight at the end of the wedding night. You made Tony feel confident, comfortable and excited to be involved in the process and all the details (sometimes difficult for the groom!). Your support and hard work throughout the entire evening allowed us and our guests to enjoy the evening and made it the "night of our lives".

Metta, you were able to quietly and quickly achieve all of our requests and needs on the evening with minimal fuss. Your detail and directions were able to guide us without disrupting the comfortable and natural look we were after. You took care of the personal bonbonnieres and the table settings with creativity and care.

All of the Faraway Team were enthusiastic, exceptionally hard working and caring for Tony and I on our wedding. All the staff from the drivers, celebrant, hairdressers, florist, caterers, bar staff, wait staff, photographer and videographer were wonderful and made our wedding, the day we had dreamed of together. Our wedding day was above all expectations, and if we could do it all over again for the fun of it, we would do it in a heartbeat! We have already planned to return to Ko Samui for our first year anniversary.

Dear Narissa,

Firstly, a huge THANKYOU to each and every one of you all who made 9th August such a wonderful day. I really appreciate all the hundreds of little things you did which all came together so beautifully and made for a most unforgettable day for us all. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed all facets of the day and the way you merged the traditional Thai bits into the whole day made it so special.

So, please tell everyone a big thankyou and we will certainly recommend you guys to anyone we run into who are interested in marrying overseas. The flowers were simply stunning, the dancing girls lovely and so
graceful, the musician was so pleasant to listen to, all the staff there were wonderful and so helpful and friendly. What more can one say, but thankyou.

I understand that Luke's Mum & Dad have/ or are about to order a wedding album like the one Katherine & Luke received. David and I would also like one please if this is possible. The photographs are just
lovely and please let the photographer know that everyone here in New Zealand who has seen the album so far has been quite blown away by the beautiful photographs and also by the way the album has been presented. It is quite a work of art. Could you please advise me of the price for the album.

We haven't yet seen the DVD but I'm sure this will also be brilliant.

Hi Narissa,

Hope you are well, sorry it has been a while as I promised to email you but Japan has been hectic. I love it here, it is so crazy, everything is so different and I just cannot stop staring at the clothes that people wear. I saw someone dressed up like little bow peep the other day, bonnet and stick included.

We really are having a lovely time and have now just got to Kyoto where we are Geisha and shrine spotting for a full week.

Anyway the reason that am I emailing is to say a big thanks for the wedding. If you could show the guys this email or just pass it on then that would be great.

Considering we have been travelling it was so easy booking the wedding through Faraway Weddings. We always felt 100% confident that you listened to our requests and helped us make a few decisions where necessary.It felt as if we new you guys right from the start and you understood our situation fully.

It was a huge benefit to meet the team before the wedding and to see what a great bunch of people work there. I have never met a nicer group of friendly people, you all made us feel very welcome which meant a lot to us with us not seeing family of friends for so long. By the end of the wedding week when we left Samui we did feel as if we were saying by to new friends.

The organising by the whole team was brilliant, it could not be faltered anywhere. When we suggested different things like the cake you always enquired and gave your best to try to please us.

On the day all the staff were fantastic and just knew what to do moving things, getting people ready etc without making it look hard or there being any distraction to the ceremony.

Everything was perfect and there was no pressure on us to have decisions made asap whilst we were travelling and in the run up to the wedding. The wedding day itself was more than we both could have imagined or wished for. It really was perfect, everything was organised beautifully and every part of it just seemed to flow very well.

I must say once again that my dad was so impressed with the photographer and has raved about the photos ever since he got home. In fact everyone has said how brilliant the wedding was and especially how it was all so well organised by the staff.

Just a few personal thank yous now:

The food was amazing, the beef and seabass went down a storm with everyone so please thank Jeffrey. I was very happy with myself for not dropping the chocolate cake down my dress.

The flowers were amazing, so many of them and brilliantly arranged. I personally loved the touch of the apples in the arrangements.

The legal rep in Bangkok was lovely, no hassles there getting everything done.

The cake was great and thankfully did not crumble under the weight of me and Ern sitting on the top.

The music was great,each song seemed to just match each part of the ceremony perfectly.

Richard was a very good calming influence and made everyone feel very relaxed, all the guest said he was lovely and that did a great job too. It was a really nice touch getting the sand with the wedding certificate from him at the end.

The bar staff were very attentive and let us stay a lot longer than we should have done. I felt very sorry for the drivers though having quite a few drunken people in the cars.

Hair and makeup girls were great and thankfully did not make me look like a cheer leader.

Thai dancers were great, now that I have finally seen them on the video. To be honest I think in the end it worked fine me staying in the room as I would not have missed walking down the aisle with my dad for the world. Thanks Narissa for actually getting me out the door and down the aisle - you were great with me.

All in all myself and Ern cannot say thank you enough for our wedding day. You all made it so special even down to the smallest detail. I know you are probably thinking this is your job and we paid for the wedding but really the service compared to what we would have got back home was 100% better which is why we appreciate the day so much and the effort from everyone that went in to it.

Anyway I hope you all have lots more weddings to keep planning, if every ones is as good as ours then I am sure everyone using your services will be very happy.

On that note we gave a copy of the pictures to everyone at the wedding and someone has come back saying that they are interested in having there wedding with you guys. I have given the people your website address and your contacts so hopefully you might get some business. My bridesmaid Rebecca also seems to have made herself your private PA and marketing guru and is raving about the wedding to everyone she meets.

All my love, hopefully we will see you in October if we ever leave crazy Japan.

Dear Narissa and Darren,

Steve and I had such a wonderful wedding ceremony on Lipa Noi beach and we were really happy about how everything turned out so wonderful!

We also received many many photos. Thank you so much for your great hospitality and professional management for the wedding. We really really appreciate that.

Now, I’m busy showing photos to my friends and they all are so jealous of me. I’m working for the organization for foreign women living in Tokyo…I will talk about your service to our members at our next meeting! I really want more people to experience that great atmosphere and food and everything!

We honestly could not have dreamt of a more perfect day.

The photos and the album were out of this world and really captured the day perfectly. We will treasure these.

Since being home I have shown my wedding album around & people are blown away by it. Most girls in my office are now wanting a beach wedding!! I have also been on Trip Advisor singing Faraway's praises - emailing a few people back to tell them what a brilliant day I had & how well organised Faraway are.
